In March of 1985, she met a beautifully saved young man who witnessed to her about Jesus. She later gave her life to the Lord. In June of 1986, God blessed her to marry the beautifully saved young man who had witnessed to her, none other than Elder Charles Givens. The Lord blessed them with two beautiful children, JoLondon (17) and Charles Jr. (14).

After being honorable discharged from the military, she became a full time homemaker. It was during this time she developed as steadfast, devoted prayer life and relationship with the Lord. As Evangelist Givens' prayer life and relationship continued to flourish and become increasingly fervent, God called her into the Gospel Ministry.

Evangelist Givens has a passion and calling in Hospital Ministry and her God given dream is to ultimately work and minister in the area of hospital chaplaincy.

Evangelist Givens considers her relationship with the Lord to be her top priority and greatest accomplishment. Her utmost desire is to be the woman of God he called her to be and to love all people with the Love of God.
